Last night’s session was an old favourite – the hill circuit around the Lake – and it was handled really well by everyone – great work. Of course the 15 minute warm up & 15 minute warm down were done as usual – and more than usual of you managed the 5 or 6 easy strides at the end on the run.

We welcomed another seven  ‘newies’ this week, as numbers continue to grow (a total of 40 new members in just the last 4 weeks – all are new Monash Students in 2011, many from overseas)

New last night were  Stacey Bulger, Amelia Hughes, Cara Bredebusch, Megan Stringer, Patrick Thien, Heidi Jalonen, & Evan Henley.  A very warm welcome to all of you – and congratulations on your great participation on Tuesday evening.

Our  Hill session WILL go ahead again next Saturday morning (26th March) - at Jells Park, and I’ll be there for sure. We’ll meet at the usual  spot at 8.30am SHARP, out the front of the cafe – ‘Madelines’. Enter Jells Park from the entrance in Waverley Rd extension – opposite the Glen Waverley Golf Course. I believe that we had another great turn out last Saturday, in my absence – great to hear! Hope to see a huge turn out again this week.

A great goal for your Autumn/Winter training- the Great Ocean Marathon Series.  Races include 45 km, 23 km, 14 km and 6.5 km. See below for details.
