1. Name – Steven Bonfadini

2. Age – 21

3. A brief background 
I am in my 4th (and final) year at Monash Studying a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Education (secondary). I am studying to be a senior school mathematics teacher.
I have been running since I started little athletics in U/6. 

4. How long have you been a RunMonash member? 2 and half years now. Wow… time flies.

5. Favourite run session?
Love them all. Maybe the 60sec efforts.

6. Favourite place to run?
Just started running at ferny creek and loving it. So at the moment there. However, I have this track I run that I have named the “Maccas run” which has a KFC, Mcdonalds and an ‘all you can eat’ restaurant in this one glorious spot where the smell teases me as I go past.

7. Favourite song/music to run to? (or sounds of nature)
I like to keep my mind focussed on my running during training and competition. 
But Thunderstruck by AC/DC is a good one to fire me up before competition.

8. Favourite food?
It changes. At the moment I would have to say Banana Toasties. 
Chopped banana on toast with cheese melted on top with Italian herbs. Trust me, it’s delicious.

9. What motivates you to continue running?
Running is part of my lifestyle and has been for 15 years now so I am generally don’t need motivation. 
But competition is one of the main reasons I run. I love the tactical nature of Track (in particular 800m) and the immense concentration you have to have. 

10. What is your running goal for 2014?
Start running consistent sub 2min 800m. Maintain a solid winter season.

11. Any general comments about your involvement in RunMonash.
If you have a running goal or ever want to talk about middle distance running, let me know. Or even better, talk to TV. He’ll give you the guidance necessary for that goal.
