1. Name: Sarah Cheong

2. Age: 22

3. A brief background 

I’m in my 3rd year of medical school at Monash. I love basketball and running, and been running a lot more since coming here. 

4. How long have you been a RunMonash member?
April 2012

5. Favourite run session? 200s!

6. Favourite place to run?
Love running along the Gardiner’s creek trail, or anytime I get to run on a new route. 

7. Favourite song/music to run to? (or sounds of nature)
Sounds of nature and the singing that goes on in my head throughout the run. Always too lazy to carry around an ipod.

8. Favourite food?
Definitely hawker centre food from home (Singapore), and desserts!! I love dessert too.

9. What motivates you to continue running?
To keep fit! And the adrenaline rush I get after every running session. 

10. What is your running goal for 2014?
I aimed to do a15k and a half marathon this year, but I think I I’ll have to leave the half marathon for next year.

11. Any general comments about your involvement in RunMonash.
I’m glad my friend, Isaac, introduced me to this running group. It’s much more fun running with others, to give myself a bit of competition and motivation during the run. I would definitely not be able to do interval training on my own. Trevor’s passion for running is also a great inspiration!
